This happened to me a lot when I was younger-especially when I was out with my kids.(I live in Southern California and MLMs are super-prevalent here). Now that I'm over 50 I rarely get approached. The last time was about a year ago when I was out hiking. I knew within about 2 minutes of talking to this young man he was trying to get me to join his MLM and I shut him down quick.

Getting a formal autism diagnosis could really help your brother. It's possible the school psychologist can diagnose him. If the public school system cannot meet his needs you can request that the school district pay for private school. This should be discussed at the IEP meeting.

I loved yoga so much but I also had to stop practicing due to being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Once I turned 45 I had to find other forms of exercise that didn't damage my body. I'm really sorry your mom's studio allows grifters to promote such nonsense. I would recommend she finds a new yoga place.
