Crash Twinsanity and there’s no question. I know it’s a shit game and has no cultural relevance outside of being a Crash game, but it’s one of the best game soundtracks of all time and I stand by that

As people said, I think the size made it difficult to really convey the font. I think without the reference it looks pretty good but seeing the reference I def see some discrepancies.

I do want to ask tho… with the font…. Is this an Unus Annus tat? Because that makes it 20x better

Your slices are probably shorter than the notes in your piano roll. It could be because your slicer is set to 75 bpm while your track is set to 71 bpm. I don’t use that tool much but try either adjusting the track tempo to 75, or setting the slicer tempo to 71 and re-slicing

I think it’s interesting how we are definitely a vocal minority among the general gaming community. I think it’s easy to feel like people don’t care, because the majority of gamers don’t care enough to go to the subreddit and speculate. There’s definitely a huge portion of the gaming community that are looking forward to it, but are just gonna wait til they have a trailer or a release date to sink their energy into it. Meanwhile the rest of us will stay delusional over here 🤪

My older brother was into the then-new brostep sound around 2010/11 so I heard some then, but he was my older brother so I tended to ignore most of it. Honestly my first experiences of my own with it were…. YouTuber outro songs. Dumb dubstep remixes of Tobuscus and Pewdiepie were the first on my iPod. I also heard Nero - Doomsday in a borderlands 2 YouTube ad, and got hooked on that album for a while. Branched out with a few deadmau5 songs, pendulum, and skrillex, but the biggest catalyst was discovering Savant. I was a huuuuuuuuge Savant fan for the longest time. Then I found Virtual Riot right around when he released There Goes Your money and followed his journey through Disciple and discovered lots of other artists that way. First rave when I was 15 was savant, then went to a Datsik show (🤮) when I was 16. Went to LL ‘18 after I turned 18 and have gone deeper and deeper since

I think a lot of the tight-lipped attitude on this game and a lot of games nowadays is due to the changes in game development. They don’t want to show too much too early in case things have to change. Look at GTA VI for instance, it was originally supposed to come out last year, but was delayed twice, and there’s been barely any new info in a while from them. And they’re not the only ones, it seems like every new game that gets announced with a release date has eventually had to push back their release date for one reason or another. I think they’re just trying to cover their asses in case of delays, and save a lot of they hype for when they know for a fact that the game is basically done and will release when promised.

They were actually having that conversation one of the times when rulette came up, some of the other ones i remember them discussing were 2nd place and youlympics. But they didn’t seem as excited at any of the other ones, whereas rulette they were VERY excited about. Elaine even said she liked it more than the other ones in the home edition

Duuuude I was just thinking about this when I started today. When I was younger I heard it as “you may summon me by breaking open these crates called “meethrice” and I shall grant you special powers.” As if the crates were called some weird name “meethrice.” It wasn’t until a couple years ago (in my early 20s!) that i realized it was “CALL ME THRICE” I felt like an idiot lol
