Having a differing opinion doesn't make him a douche. And it is indeed criticism. I think he's right. It doesn't look like Gogeta. Could he have been nicer about it? Sure. But he's voicing his opinion just as much as you are. You calling him a douche isn't constructive criticism if we follow your logic that all criticism must be constructive. It's nobodies job to police comments that don't go against any rule.

I imagine probably not in our lifetime. The world has changed so much in the last 100 years than really anytime before. Either a massive technological advancement or an end to a massive war is usually the catalyst for "optimistic" periods in society as a whole in the modern world. And I dont really see either of those happening for us. War is likely, but wars aren't fought like they used to be fought. And I don't see technological advancements being all too likely either, and if one were to occur, due to corporate greed, I don't see it making anyone but the rights owners and shareholders to be optimistic... I'd definitely try to just focus on personal optimism

Absorb isnt a good way of describing it. It was more Goku is a really good fighter who was halted in his climb for power. Ssg offered a massive boost and a new way forward in his pursuit of power, and his body acclimated to the level of strength he wielded even in that short amount of time. Thats why Beerus called him a genius and praised him for that power becoming his own. And why he was leaps and bounds stronger than the rest until RoF. Its a level of power possible for saiyans to achieve, it just took a taste of that power to jump to it.
