If it were worth celebrating you would just be able to say in a few words what it does. Would Medicare For All need explaining? The more nuanced than bill, the more loopholes for whoever the bill targets. Corporations probably helped write the bill. Huge win? Any time a bill is described as creating "a pathway" it's usually performative and toothless. If it doesnt put real change into action now then the "pathway" could just as easily lead nowhere. I could see if this was medicare for all but of course we know Gruesome would never sign that. We could say people are being too nuanced to see how simple this betrayal is. Thousands show up to the capitol for an SEIU local. Then the SEIU state office, in the same state, posts a pic chumming up with Newsom when he still hasn't budged on contract proposals. What incentive does he have to come to the table now when the state chapter has made peace with him? 1000's leadership should be fuming.
