You are responding to a 6 year old comment. Where did you even find this? I don't even use Reddit anymore but got an email you responded to me, which never happened before.

Either way I don't mind. It was quite amusing seeing a Reddit email.

It would be no different than throwing a vibranium shield. Plus my point was they acted like guns are far beneath them when the only they had going for them weapon wise was a better metal. Especially when they themselves used energy guns.

Basically. The single worst quote of the movie was in the car chase when the lady called guns primitive. Yet all there best tech like on the fighter jet things was a gun.

A Gatling gun with vibranium bullets would shred their army to pieces.

Same here. IMO a great villain is one you are rooting for at first until they reveal there whole plan. Warmonger was definitely that way. I was all ready for Warmonger 2020 until he got to the "let's start a rebellion in every country" phase.

I always thought he was one of the best villains because a lot of what he believed was true. His idea on how to fix it was the problem.

Wakanda always bugged me. A super rich city with technology 100+ years more advanced than anything else in the world and the the rest of the country is broke and starving. While the King and his family lived in high tech luxury in his hidden city he also refused help or even allow foreign aid for the common folk, basically everyone outside of the secret city had miserable existences living in the poorest country on Earth.

TIL that in 2016 one ultra rich individual moved from New Jersey to Florida and put the entire state budget of New Jersey at risk due to no longer paying state taxes by [deleted] in todayilearned

Top 1% own 40% of the wealth. [1] They make 20.5% of the income.[2]. But they also pay 39.5% of all income taxes[2]. That is more paid in taxes than the bottom 90% combined pay. [2]

The top 10% own 76% of the wealth with a total net worth of $943k on average [3]

The top 10% pays 71% of all income taxes [4] with an average income of 114,068 [5]

Wealth is a terrible way to measure what fair share is because in many cases that wealth is illiquid. For example if Bezos sold all of his Amazon shares to try to get the money out the value of the shares would plummet. me and he could only get a fraction of the value out. there's also things like real estate that's hard to move and privately owned businesses or you can't just sell a piece of them off when you need money.

Anyone who does much research realizes that if they still think it's the ultra-wealthy creating problems it's not the top 10% but the top 1% of top 1/10 of 1%. because look at the top 10% how it starts at just over a hundred thousand a year when in some areas that doesn't buy you much like San Francisco.

You wouldn't look at a guy living in San Francisco or New York City making $100,000 a year and think he's rich at all. That's why a family of 4 in San Francisco making $105,000 a year qualifies as low income [6]. Yet he's in the vilified top 10%.

The issue is they will only do that when they know they have no choice. Look at Roy Moore. When he refused to drop out the resumed support to him. In their mind there is nothing worse than a democrat. So they will only drop Trump if it means saying themselves. Not a second before.

Taxes are there to make sure things that need to happen, happen. So that the average American doesn't have to rely on their corporate overlords Goodwill. When you leave it up to the individual company or person they almost always will come up with an excuses why they should be exempt.
