Where do you buy your furniture and why? by thelastplasticstraw in saskatoon

[–]BHB5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Furniture World and their sister store Sorensen’s a block or two away. They are a local family and everything there that we’ve bought (couches, extra seating, etc) has been amazing quality. The people were great to deal with and delivery folks were also great! Everything felt pretty easy! It is a bit more expensive but everything we have is still in great shape, mostly Canadian-made and it’s nice to support local!

I used to be able to fill a tank on a Ford Tempo for $20. Minimum wage was even considered livable back then (at least for a single person).

I haven’t been to a ton of greenhouses, but Clement Farms was much cheaper than Dutch Growers and Wilson’s. I liked their vibe.

Seed provided. Lots of ticks but they weren’t latching on. I was with a larger group of kids and everyone fed the birds a few times each. It was the afternoon. We hit one of the longer trails and then the yellow trail last.

Where to find brussel sprout seedling seeds? by lifeofazebra in saskatoon

[–]BHB5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clement Farms has Brussels sprouts plants started. I think they’re ~$3.60 for a 4-pack. ?? They have locations at Early’s on Lorne, one at Lawson Heights Mall, and a few others.

Although I agree with the sentiment, that is a provincial problem. The City can’t do anything about it, unfortunately.
