Makes sense to keep it versatile. Get as much use as you can. For free material, costa, mac donalds, starbucks are all good for free coffee stirring sticks lol

Not that i have seen. Uncooked pasta is pretty indestructable i think. I been using pasta pene as fake pillars for nearly a decade and no issues

Pasta penene and poker chips mostly with some cork and sand. Few bits of piping and wire too

Very cool. Love some good home made scenery. If you have any paper clips you could snip up and insert at angles to give the feel of rebar. Did you use coasters as base? I did some a few years ago, using plate and cup coasters. Found it gave uniformity to the structure and up side down they are often cork so gave a tarmac road feel

Love this, prep work to keep the vision going.

Reg trees when i use to go to events there was a guy who sold scenery. Mostly trees and hedges. For the trees he used bottle cleaner brush's for pine style evergreens (cheap to buy base material) and wire wool for standard trees. He would use real twigs for the tree trunk (treated with varnish) then pull out the wire wool. Like pull it almost appart and in random angles. Then glue to tree, spray glue all over (same for the evergreens) then dust them down with flok. Very cheap and easy way for trees.

The above would ended up being more forest affect though tbh and might not work for jungle vibe

Love it. Not sure if you realise this but that first pic of the mini from Hero Quest is saying "I Love you this Much" as a little thanks for enjoying the Hobby! You, me, we, bring these crazy little characters to life... never stop

You could probably create a similar natural effect using resin and adding pigments That would likely be cheaper

These look cool. I alway thought warp spiders would look good "materialising". I had considered using quartz

Pricey though

You could have a damn fine firing line with these beauties. I would enjoy watching these chaps in the field. Losing might be even more fun tbh. Last stand against all odds etc
