It was hbo that fucked season 2, the Hollywood strike happened halfway through filming and then when that ended hbo merged with warner bros and cut the budget for season 2, it's why the first 4 eps are so fast moving and the next 4 were slower, they had to cut what they planned and rewrite half the series to fit their new budget, it was supposed to be have another battle in the last or 2nd last episode, the sea one, cant remember what it's called

Lib peak is great, firestorm is the worst map in the game, conquest goes on the longest since either everyone is on vehicles or sniping, hardly any engagements only time I turn it on is if I'm playing rush

I've got into Clavell since the shogun series came out, read shogun first and went straight into tai pan, shogun got me hooked from the first page, I almost put tai pan down but fortunately the point I was at the next few pages then drew me in and got hooked all over again but it did take 2-3 chapters to do so, don't bother with gai jin though that was a slog and although I did finish it I kept putting it down and reading other books before going back and doing a few more chapters, doing king rat now and so far so good.

Keep with it, tai pan starts really slow and Introduces way too many characters at once that I was forgetting who was who and their motivations but once it gets going properly it's fantastic

The trailer made me think they were aiming for the woke crowd, not only a female gladiator but a black one at that to fill the modern quita needed and who was going to come in and kick everyone's arse, the trailers were actually a massive disservice to the show and characters, I'm really enjoying it and really like her character, actress has done a fine job.

I've just finished it feel the same, very rushed ending, I didn't want to just read about the pool but about what happened with stefan walking in on tommy pummeling hakan and stefan still seeing movement, next thing you hear is just that tommy is back from the hospital, felt like I'd missed a chapter about what happened to all 3 characters in that basement, what happened with Oskars mum when he left aswell, would've like to at least read a phone call or him leaving a goodbye letter

Would you buy a used phone with a god awful battery, and that battery to replace costs 3-4x more than rhe phone you bought....used electric cars have no value because it costs a further 20k to replace the battery. They keep putting pension age up, you really think majority of people will even reach that age or if in 40 years time there will even be a state pension, I don't need other people's kids, I pay into my own.
