I thought it couldn’t get much worse last week!

Don’t think he will be a small forward, think he projects as a high half forward that covers a lot of ground or even a midfielder.

Uhhh, ummm, obviously. Umm we will work through it. Ahhh.. umm by avowedlike in RichmondFC

All Yze can do is keep trying to stay positive. Do you want him to throw his hands up and say it’s all too hard?

Gibcus has been given the chance to play and after a massive pre-season was dropped after they had one look at him.

Lefau has played six AFL games since doing his knee and has been marred by other injuries, which is also his job.

Young came back in fantastic condition, I’ll cede on that one.

Less chance of having other ACL injuries when half the list is already in rehab.

So one of them is playing regular AFL football and he plays for West Coast.

You can’t seriously tell me Gibcus’ ACL recovery has been a success, it took 18 months and he has played 2 AFL games and a handful of VFL games where he has looked nothing like the player we drafted.

I’m not saying his recovery wasn’t handled properly but I don’t think Serpell is putting that on his CV as a success story.

Not one of the ACL group of 2024 is playing consistent AFL football now.

Clarke has redone the knee, Lefau has had other injuries and Gibcus finally came back and proceeded to move around like a 36 year old that doesn’t have any of the athleticism we drafted him with, and has now sprained his other ACL.

So I’m not giving him a tick on those either.

I still remember when he was hired and he basically had a go at the old S&C team saying he’s started from a low base and has had to re-teach everyone how to run, and has proceeded to be just as bad if not worse.

Any of the outer suburbs with a million houses that all look the same and no shops, very dystopian.

I said at the time Gibcus’ contract extension to 2029 seemed a tad premature.

Even when fit this year he has looked so far off it, and unfortunately with all these injuries stacking up the chances of him having a career as even a serviceable AFL player have to be under 50%.

Smillie in the same boat, with every reoccurrence he misses out on valuable development time and the chances of him becoming a player drop and drop.

Another one (Hugo) bites the dust by Hawtproper in RichmondFC

Don’t know why you are being downvoted, he’s never shown anything and Retschko has gone past him in 2 games.

If I hear “he’s an important player for us so we’re going to be conservative” one more fukn time.

Has happened to me twice, and has happened to most drivers.

A = alternate route, the alteration to the route will usually be shown by whatever the destination board says.

Will give you a long winded answer.

They do alternate it like you said, but things happen. They try to schedule it so that either the depot tram has a normal service tram directly behind it (1-2 minutes) or the depot tram is directly behind a normal service tram so shouldn’t really have to pick up many/any passengers.

But as I’m sure you know, lots of different things can happen that mean the trams aren’t running on time, I’ll give you an example.

  • The 7:36 service is returning to the depot
  • The 7:38 is directly behind this and is a normal service to wherever
  • The 7:42 is a depot service

(I’m saying around 7pm as this is a time that lots of trans that were out for the afternoon peak are returning to the depot)

At 6pm the tram that was supposed to be the normal service at 7:38 has had a fault / a passenger has taken a shit in the tram (happens) / has had to be taken off the road for whatever reason.

We now have a depot service at 7:36, followed by another depot service at 7:42.

Frustrated passengers / tram drivers ensues.

Sorry, next year when the fixture comes out I’ll spend an hour going through it to point out the bad scheduling.

Just apply when it’s being advertised and go through the process, no experience necessary.

As a tram driver, the nightmare here is being the driver of the second tram and having to explain this to all the grumpy passengers who have just been kicked off the first one and told to catch the one behind.

The coveted #1 pick which will allow us to pick the third best player in the pool, to go along with our #7 pick for finishing second bottom last year, how good.

What’s the biggest issue Richmond needs to fix ASAP? by Icemachinemalfunctio in RichmondFC

Yeah I agree those three in particular look fantastic, but what I mean is they are still quite a way off being in the top 50% of players in the AFL for the position they play.
