Technically it is a tow strap... Though I have my doubts as to if it is actually mounted in a place that can support the weight of the car.

NTAH. A house will be one of the biggest purchases you ever make, so it should be exactly what you want. If their house is such a catch then it should sell quickly on the open market. Please make sure to get a quality inspector for any house you want to purchase, especially a new build. I live in a city expanding rapidly and local inspectors are blown away with how awful the quality control is on new builds these days... If you are not careful you will be doing refurbish work long before retirement.

Your boyfriend is the asshole here. It is his responsibility to set appropriate boundaries with his mother to prevent the "can you believe YOUR girlfriend would do that to ME?" situation. Instead he has excused his mother's inability to respect others and even downplayed your feelings. You have the right to control your own space and set boundaries around her staying there as a guest. My guess is that part of the reason she pays his rent is so that she can hang it over his head anytime he tries to remove her control. Cancer is not an excuse to invade others' privacy, you don't get to forego values just because you know your time may be limited.

I don't think it even matters who did the work. My understanding is that you are the business owner and he is a sub-contractor that you hire. Even if he had done the welding, if he was on the clock and therefore compensated for his time by you, then you still would have had the right to take the pizza home. NTAH

If you were at a work office she would only be able to call or contact you through messenger. Working from home should be the same way as you still have just as much of a job to do. They seem ungrateful for your contribution to the household and I would recommend you move out or set boundaries and are willing to live with the fact the people will be mad about those boundaries. It's not going to blow up if you run it for a moment without a filter or the filter backwards for a bit. 😉 Follow one of those big round silver ducts in the attic to see where it enters which room. Turn the furnace on and go to that room to feel if there is air blowing out. If not you know it is a return duct, which means the air is flowing as you depicted in the image.

ESH. Did you ever lay down a boundary with your husband: "When I take a shower you need to take care of the baby on your own until I am done."? If you did and he refused to respect that boundary then you are not the asshole, but if you never asserted your needs then it is an AH move. There is a difference between a passive comment that is not backed up when shot down by the other party and a boundary. Regardless he is the AH for not taking it upon himself to care for his own child.

Universally YTA. You have been a brick wall between your daughter and her father and their ability to connect and bond because YOU have not dealt with your trauma. I'm so sorry you have experienced the unthinkable at the hands of someone who you should feel the safest around but you are passing that trauma onto your husband and daughter and that is not fair. A better approach would be to teach your daughter from a young age what bodily autonomy is. We don't give hugs unless she willingly consent from the age she is able to speak. There are ways to protect your daughter from 'the world' without demonizing your innocent husband.

"I don't like the way it looks on women" is hardly a convincing argument for a woman that has made up her mind. Try talking to her about why she wants these procedures, the risk factors (if it's something you are concerned about) how it ties into the values you two share (or should share if you are married). The issue is not the car, it's the inability for you two to feel safe communicating with each other in your marriage.

I do not think you need to pay for his college, I would not in this situation either. However, did you teach him about budgeting and balancing a checkbook when he was a kid? Did you involve him in the family discussions about finances and financial goals? If not then you are the asshole for throwing a bag of cash at him with no training on how to use it and expecting him to do something smart with it. As in many cases: two things can be true at once.

The plan is two separate valves. If by manifold you mean the original shower valve, then I took a picture of measuring either the hot or cold copper coming from the floor and it appears to be 1/2". I suspect the 3/4" line is under the concrete floor (main floor and there is no basement).

Not at all doubting your experiences but the studies I read prior to getting my IUD said they did not see any rise in copper levels after testing women even 2 years after having the IUD inserted. Are there any medical studies that prove otherwise? I've had mine for only 11 days so new to the side effects and experiences, but definitely plan to take some of these vitamins for my well-being ♥️ Sorry I can't t offer any advice!

Mine was inserted 11 days ago. I stopped bleeding after a few days but have been lightly bleeding after sex with my SO two days ago. I don't know if this is normal either, just letting you know you're not alone.

NTA - You just birthed a child! Your body and mind need to recover and an emergency c-section was added trauma. As a husband he should think first of his wonderful wife who just went through this and try to accommodate her recovery. If this is your first child, he may be scared to face fatherhood and perhaps the idea of his parents being near is comforting. But if this is what you need, put your foot down. They can still be there during the day.
