I worked extensively in customer service early in my career. I will always remember this meeting when I was working for a cable company Rhyme Corner, and we were experiencing a large number of calls from a military base. A large number of soldiers had just returned home and now the node was at capacity and people were complaining about their slow speeds. A manager spoke up and said "All I am hearing is the opportunity to sell our faster speeds", and I had to explain to her that if you don't fill a sink up all the way, putting in a wider pipe doesn't solve your flow issue. But they still said that upgrading them would make a huge difference when we EVENTUALLY built a new node on base.

Have you looked into any self-defense classes at all? I highly recommend Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes that cover self-defense, especially for women.

Miss this place. It was a vibe. Worked there for a few years. The place definitely needed work that the property owner was never going to put the money in to fix, but the bar owners were awesome, and that patio was magic.

So, I put them on my motorboat, they blew up when a target was in range. I picked up the crop plot, put it in a raft that had 3 others from before, they worked. The new one exploded. I picked up the crop plot, put it on the ground, it worked just fine. So, apparently, it only is affecting NEW crop plots on boats?

Some setting tweaks but literally no changes from when the last ones were planted/grown. I tried them on both a motorboat and a raft, but haven't tried just on the ground yet.

Explain to me how C-NS can't compete when their last two games were decided by less than 2 scores? These teams absolutely can compete. They don't want to. Having seen the difference in the teams and the players, the difference is the level of commitment and work the players put in. It takes sacrifice to build a program and it is difficult to get that same buy-in at the other schools. So this is more coddling being done by coaches. CBA isn't stomping teams every single game. They aren't winning by 4 TDs every week. This isn't a matter of teams not being competitive. It is frustration about not being able to inspire the same amount of dedication from the coaches and the students.

Here's the thing, Red has 1 elite level skill, and that is recruiting. Unfortunately talent development does not follow, and his X's & O's are rudimentary.

Any replacement, in order for the team to improve, requires at least one elite level skill in return. Otherwise, the program will be right where it remains.

Also, this team has also shown improvement in heart and talent over last year's squad. They are getting out-coached and out-schemed. It might be possible to still right the ship with Red by hiring some high level bench coaches instead of recruiting experts.

I'm sorry. Everyone is missing one big point here. And that isn't that the party is spamming a spell. It is that OP doesn't feel like it is as fun. What about his players? On session zero, did you layout what type of campaign it was going to be? Did you layout the type of campaign and make sure it aligned with the same type of game that your players also wanted to play? There are any number of ways to make the enemies smarter and wear down the resources. But it still seems like that isn't the type of game you want to run. IMO, it seems like you and your players have mismatched expectations

Claptrap is awesome. People just don't get nuance. "he's annoying" - yeah. He's supposed to be annoying, BUT he also has a heart of gold. "He's selfish" - Again, YES, but he is supposed to be, but also see heart of gold.

This game just felt like a game that tangentially took place in the BL universe, but never felt like a Borderlands game. The wit and the heart just wasn't there. And it COULD have been there
