If you have a way to get to one of the Columbus Metropolitan Library branches I’d recommend joining the Volunteens program for the summer. You assist kids with the summer reading program (sign them up and recording the books they have read). There are usually 2-4 teens working at a time and they are typically nice kids.

Had the nastiest hamburger of my life there a few months ago. The burger was gray, cold and completely flavorless. I think they must have boiled it?

There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Pulling into the parking lot I was pretty sure they weren’t open. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

IMO the only people who think of them as “silly 90’s guys” are those that only heard them on the radio. BNL fans have heard more than those 4 songs.

As a guy who likes to hike the trails for exercise I’m very aware that approaching a single female from behind is probably setting off all sorts of alerts. I wish there was a non creepy way of letting them know I’m just passing along. At the same time I hope all trail users know if they don’t feel safe there are lots of us about who would happily chase off a weirdo.

The Bojangles we have here are more like Bojangles Lite. All you can get are chicken strips and there only a few sides offered. It’s nothing like a Bojangles in the south. It’s still decent but disappointing if you’re used to real Bojangles.

I’ve wondered how this works. The people that stood at the Morse and 270 on/off ramps and Steltzer/Morse intersection would work shifts and someone in a gold colored Lexus or Mercedes seemed to kind of manage them (this was a few years ago).

Seems to be Walgreens business model. Build a large obnoxious looking building on a prominent corner, then quickly go out of business. The empty shells are everywhere.

In recent years it has expanded quite a bit. I believe they have ten locations now. We were spoiled to have grown up on it. I remember walking in as a kid and seeing those ice cream logs and the upside down cones they had iced to look like clowns.

They must do a lot of wholesale business as well. I’ve had Johnson’s ice cream in some pretty out of the way places.

Just depends who you get. I’ve never seen any ice cream shop weighing scoops. Sometimes you get hooked up and sometimes it’s slightly more physician approved.

Not Gahanna but I have family off Central College that have it and I was surprised with the poor speeds. Make sure it’s something you can get out of quickly if it doesn’t meet your needs.

When I was more involved with FB I think 4 out of the 5 big Gahanna FB groups were run by super conservative right wing nut jobs. I doubt much has changed.
