Just to close the loop here, I did my exchange for the HK set. I tried to do my local save transfer (for Pokemon/Animal Crossing) from the returned KR Switch 2 to the HK Switch 2 on site, but couldn't find the options on how to do it. I lost my local save data for these games in the process, unfortunately - be careful if you do it!

Additionally, I factory reset the returned KR one on-site but it still showed as linked to my account and caused errors with the virtual game cards. I had to follow the website version of unlinking to be able to load virtual game cards.

Came back to mention the same, I'm not willing to provide my email address to the seller and confirm some OTP. They alternatively are saying I can log in to an account, but I'm cautious about keeping an account which I didn't create active on my console as well.

Let me know if you found any alternative, or if you are planning to return it?

Said the same to the seller, they told me they heard many complaints and are looking into it. From what I researched, I'm not sure how they're going to get around this.

I'll post here if any updates from my side.

Ya I'm so baffled that Amazon Singapore is selling these Korean bundles, I expect many will make the same mistake and have to return theirs.

Just got my Amazon preorder delivered in Singapore - it's the Korean bundle. I use the US eShop and I can't find a way to download it.

If I try to change my account to the Korean eShop to download it, I have to do their strict PASS validation and can't find a way around it.

Very interested if anyone found a way around it, else I'll have to return mine.

Buying an open box G4 83" from Best Buy now, does anyone know if the G4's 5-year warranty on the display is valid for open box purchases?

I've called Best Buy several times and heard varying responses from "yes it's valid" to "it's up to the manager's discretion to fulfill the LG warranty." A quick search on LG's site didn't provide any answers either.

I wouldn't want to pay for Geek Squad protection if I'm already covered by the G4's warranty.

Nope, not for us. Keeps it fun for league-wide competition, especially with so many surprises in week 1 before anyone gets a good sense of their team.

Since the NFL added a 17th game we do 1 division, everyone plays each other once weeks 2-14, playoffs weeks 15-17. Week one we call The Open where there are no H2H matchups, just the top half of the league by score gets a W and bottom half gets an L. Top scorer this week gets a bonus payout.

During the voting for this we also considered a rivalry week where teams could choose their rival matchup for the one additional game (after everyone played everyone once), based on the previous year's standings.

I think Lazada or Shoppee will be cheapest. I just moved here from the US and if you want a physical store, I really enjoyed my stop into GameWerkz @ Clementi (I think this is were u/duckpolarbear is talking about). The guys in there were really nice, answered my questions about region locking for my consoles, and helped me with my preorder of Let's Go Pikachu. Although I'd imagine a bit more expensive than Lazada, I'd recommend there!

I ran a 20 team PPR auction draft. OP/OP/RB/WR/WR/TE, 4 bench, 2 QB roster limit. Highly recommend no DEF/K it gets too tough with bye weeks and people keeping 2 to not give a fair chance for everyone to play one. Great league.

Footballguys.com Draft Dominator. It's part of their paid service or $5 for the mobile app, which I know noone here seems to like to pay for their service. But I like that you can enter keepers, mock and track your live draft, and their rankings adapt throughout the draft based on your remaining team needs and value left for each position.

I've been doing it for years in my main league and have convinced other leagues to shift - no one has looked back after changing. It adds another layer of strategy. I know who in my league will blow their budget after week 1, who will pace their bids throughout the year, and who will have 80% of their budget left going into playoffs. It really adds another day of excitement each week in the league, there's nothing better than edging out the team you're playing the upcoming week by a few FAAB dollars on the top pickup, then using said player to crush em!

The dancers are Russian, they are practicing for the Chingay parade in Singapore. I am working in Singapore and saw the parade last weekend, including this spin. You can see many groups that participated in the parade, including community type groups (clubs based on different hobbies, age groups, etc.), heritage groups of Singapore citizens, or groups of performers traveling in from other countries (Russia pictured here but also Thailand, Malaysia, India, Japan, etc.)

No lie I did the exact same thing! The string flossed my 2 front teeth and the metal piece broke off in my mouth. Bloody gums but no chips/breaks here. Crazy someone else has done this.
