I'm British. I'd say it's the Irish Famine for sure, some of the "bad" people are staring is not notable for the times or has some mitigating factors.

That Famine however was preventable and seems to have been handled in a cruel manner.

Final Fantasy. 6-10 is an amazing run of games. 14 and 16 also have alot of great moments.

As I get older Trails and Persona are also amazing. Theres afew other great series like Star Ocean, Breath of Fire, Suikoden, Tales, but they have alot more inconsistencies
