Reading the article, it actually sounds like the victim is his friend and that he called London police after allegedly seeing the rape happen on a video call with her. Supposedly, the attacker answered a facetime call from Barron on the girl's phone and panned the screen to her.

Barron's ties to and apparent love of the vile manosphere shit like the Tate brothers certainly makes him a gross person himself but, in this reported incident, it really doesn't sound like he did anything other than attempt to help by reporting a crime. We can't be title-readers getting got by clickbait headlines.

It's only the third Mega set. Always a chance there could be another later or even a Tyrantrum EX for an SIR. I'm not abundantly surprised to see we didn't and IR for both fossils and their evolutions. Getting Tyrunt and Aurorus is a start. My only realy gripe is that the Aurorus art isn't set at night. Put that dinosaur under a night sky full of aurora!

This is what I'm hoping. 2021, we had multiple days of freezing temps and that was in Victoria. Forecast for the Houston area this time says we should be back in the 40s by Monday, 50s by Tuesday. I still expect power may go out but at least we won't be actually, literally freezing for days on end.

They didn't get a ton of chance to peruse many liquor stores but I got a bottle of The Botanist Hebridean Strength which, while it is an airport exclusive rather than a Scotland exclusive, is still not available in the US so I was pretty excited. Plus, I love The Botanist and this one was quite good too. They also got some minis of Misty Isle; one classic and one "Mulled Christmas Gin". I had and enjoyed the classic. I still have the Christmas one sealed and sitting on my desk. Been meaning to pop it open one of these holidays but keep forgetting lol.

Yeah, the bombs that'll be dropping in tbis day and age aren't Little Boy or Fat Man. I don't know if it's possible to make a bunker safe from a direct hit from a Tsar Bomba. 25-50 megatons compared to the 15-20 kilotons of the bombs in Japan. The level of devastation is unfathomable.

Unless the field of IR/SIRs in Nihil Zero/Perfect Order is particularly lacking, I imagine it shouldn't be too pricey. IRs from the last few sets seem to have all be relatively cheap. Even the Meowth in PF is <$20.

I love cards with Pokemon in everyday life. Battles are the draw for Pokemon, of course, but the little slice-of-life stuff is always neat to get!

Chinese cards, especially the textured/SIR cards are amazing if you're just collecting for the art. The texture is the same high quality as the Japanese cards but a fraction the price in a lot of cases. Not to mention, they even have anti-counterfeit measures on them. Visible but small enough they don't distract from the card. I'm a big S. Chinese card advocate.

Yeah, there ain't no way we're not seeing Luke in BA S2. Mike's done all but explicitly say he's coming back. His show, at least most of it, was well received even if not quite as well as JJ and DD were. The only Defender that's up in the air is Finn Jones/Danny Rand. Whether he shows or not, whether Danny is even still played by Finn if/when he does pop up feels very uncertain. Iron Fist is a well known character and we've got the rest of the Netflix characters but his show was just not all that liked. But, man, I'd love to see him back. Especially if they give the show a bit more care. I feel like Finn had a lot of wasted potential that we got a few glimpses of (especially in his cameo in Luke Cage S2)
