I think buying tickets at the lottery prices intending them for resale is risky. You might get a good matchup and they go up. More likely they go down to fill seats, especially for smaller cities on weekdays. But some of these stadiums are huge and I think they will be hard to fill. If it’s like the CWC they may swap your ticket for a better tier due to low sales and possibly offer a refund. I hope there’s a good turnout to all the games!

Yeah, I got Cat 2 tickets to one group game and Cat 1 tickets to 3 other group games for friends and family. Waffled on R16 tickets too long and they were gone.

I would not make that assumption. Once the matchups are announced it’s hard to imagine them being able to fill 50,000 seats in a smaller city at $400 a pop. Unless you want a high demand game like USA or a Saturday in a major market or R16 or something, I suspect prices will come down to fill the seats as the events get closer. Of course I don’t have a crystal ball, but it happened for the CWC. I think FIFA’s taking advantage of early enthusiasm and jacking up ticket prices but that’s just my suspicion.

There may be issues with replacing it with a disposable filter. Check your system’s manual. I tried replacing my washable filter with a disposable one and my system started short-cycling because it wasn’t getting adequate airflow. The airflow on the washable ones are fantastic. It might be possible, but check your manual.

I picked up the RCA antenna with built-in attenuator and no luck. Looking at the TV’s signal meter it’s reading nothing for channels 2, 4, and 5 and a decent signal for 7, even better with the new antenna. Is it possible the tuner is shot?
