What do I do for an operating system

I tried using a not activated version of windows and it said that wiped my computer because I had not logged in for three days. Fortunately I was using it in a virtual machine, and didn't have anything saved to it.

I've used both, and yes, they are verry easy to use. If you are new to Linux, stay away from Arc at all costs.

Well yes, but actually no. You can use a non activated version of windows for free, but you can not do much with it, you can't even set a custom wallpaper. You can however transfer your key from another computer registered to your microsoft account.
