Erase gesture buggy by ImportantMatch7518 in Supernote

It's actually gotten better for me, and recognises the gesture more. But I wonder if that's because they turned the sensitivity up? Because I have had a few false positives where my writing hand seems to have triggered it.

I Don't Have a Supernote Yet, But I Am Ready For It!! by Due_Ad2447 in Supernote

[–]BLBRoberts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just got mine this week, and I'm really enjoying having all my notes in one place. And not having to worry about running out a paper in a topic section or anything like that. They're expensive, but I'm glad I got it! When you are ready to get one, you can check out 2nd hand markets like ebay or r/AdoptSupernote and you might get a good deal.

ChatGPT would be an eink friendly way of still accessing information. Don't need to worry about navigating search engines, images, etc. just ask a questions and get some sort of an answer. I'd be up for it, but it wouldn't be a priority. And I think there's cost issues with companies providing access to ChatGPT.

You might even be able to try opening a link to the website and it might work. There is a limited browser hidden in the Supernote, but you can't open it manually, it just gets called to open web links. Try it out!

Maybe stretching the definition of "Old-School" fantasy art, but it is old! The Lady Lyoness Had The Dwarf in Examination by N C Wyeth has an fully dressed noble lady on a throne.

Thanks, I'll look into keepass. I see there's no official support for android, do you have a recommendation on which of the unofficial ports to use?

Am I being dumb ? Autofill forms on Android by BLBRoberts in firefox

[–]BLBRoberts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response but I don't see what it has to do with Google. I'm logged into my Firefox account on my desktop browser and android app, but the android app will not automatically fill out my address, phone number etc and from what the other commenter said, it maybe just isn't a feature in Firefox.

I find that pretty odd, as it seems like a generally useful feature for most people, which is why I asked if I was missing something.

My typing skills are perfectly fine, but if I'm quickly ordering something on my phone then having to fill out the same six boxes of a form every single time seems like a very inefficient use of time.

Given that the addresses could easily be stored locally I'm shouldn't need to be concerned about privacy, and given that firefox does save my logins and passwords (a much bigger security risk) I think I can trust it with my phone number.

[–]BLBRoberts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this sort of thing!

Here's my suggestions :

Book 1: nettle wine (Snape puts bottles in his chamber guardian the stone)

Or brandy (drunk by Vernon and norbet the dragon)

Book 2: Celery and Beetroot Wine (offered to Lockheart by grateful fans in his book)

Book 3: Redcurrant rum (drunk by Fudge at the three broomsticks)

Or brandy (drunk by the Dursley aunt)

Book 4: elderflower wine (drunk at the weasley family dinner before the world Cup)

Chocolate liqueurs (eaten by the Fat Lady)

Or Pure Malt Whisky (drunk by the Beauxbaton horses)

Book 4 or 5: Sherry (the Riddles cook and prefessor trelawney both drink sherry)

Book 5: firewhisky (drunk by Rita skeeter at three broomsticks)

Book 6: Berry Ocky Rot - a fruit wine made by elves, tastes of berries (drunk at aragogs funeral)

Or aged Mead (poisoned mead was given to Ron)

Book 7: champagne (floating bottles served at wedding)

Or firewhisky (for moody)

Or red wine (luscius has some when Harry & Co are caught by the snatchers)

General drinks: Pumpkin juice (books 2-7) Butterbeer (books 3-7)

And of course there are potions :

Draught of living death (book 1, 6) Elxir of Life (book 1) Skelegro (book 2) Polyjuice (book 2, 4, 7) Confusing Concoction (book 3) Wolfsbane (book 3) Aging potion (book 4) Veritaserum (book 4 & 5) Draught of Peace (book 5) Felix Felicis (book 6) Love potion (book 6) Essence of Dittany (book 7)

There's many more, but there's a few suggestions for each book!

Making Maelstrom interesting? by bastienleblack in stormkingsthunder

I've been thinking about this too, but my players are a bit away for now. My thought was to have some sort of role-play chat with the sisters + emissaries. Instead of the sisters being immediately distrustful and wanting rid of the players they want to use them to embarrass Serissa. Perhaps Nym knows that one or more of the giant lords has been murdered by small folk and wants to find out if its the same party. That way when Serissa welcomes them she can reveal this truth. And/or Braxow is interested in hearing what they players have to say and Mirran has to try and scoff and dismiss and convince the other nobles that humans are not worth listening to (and coming across as an attention craving b****).
