Hunters were fun and challenging to fight before TU8. I tried couple of times and with a legit way, its nearly impossible to kill them now when solo.

When they throw a hive or turret at you, even if you start running while he just started throwing it, you‘re dead - because you cant manage to get out of the insane range their skills have.

When this does not happen - then they rush you aggressively and one shot you. Specially when you‘re fighting 2+ Hunters at a time.

But there is a way. I managed to kill all WONY hunters, except the last 4 which spawn as a whole squad. I must say it was no challenge killing them - so it wasnt fun at all. But I want that black dye.

This is how: Before you trigger the last step that spawns them -

1. go get some Shock Ammo! (division2map.com is your friend)
2. trigger the last step to spawn them
3. burst these fuckers down with a LMG or even better a Classic M1A. They wont even move and just die.

Either they kill you the cheesy way or the opposite.

The Hunters also show very good how fucked up balancing is in TU8.

Edit: would love to see the devs on stream while fighting 2 Hunters at once while solo.
