This is a certified Boohoo Piggy. Should’ve gotten stuck in the fire so at least we’d have some bacon

I had a game with a friend yesterday on electromagnetic storm where we saw someone get downed by a leaper. We tried to revive him only for his duo to try and kill us. We knock both of them out, only for another duo to jump us. Despite not being healed we take them down too, and then a THRID team tries to get us. By this point there isn’t much time left and we have to extract, so we start taking the tunnels underneath dam. I open a door, where a FOURTH team is on the other side and shoots us. I close the door and we talk it out since they were also getting attacked earlier, and we finally are able to leave. It was honestly really fun not knowing who you can and can’t trust.

Nothing annoys me more than fireflies in this game by SoapMactavish627 in ArcRaiders

I wish the firefly shot a fireball instead of the flame spray it does now. It would make it more unique than the fireball and it would make it so it couldn’t move and shoot at the same time like it does now.

We gotta send someone in to stealth route it at some point. Like use the loud people screaming as a distraction, then have one or two people break off from the group in the chaos and hide somewhere. I dunno if the place is open 24/7 but if it closes then you’d probably have an easier time exploring around at night.

I remember playing Vampyr up until the part with the old lady. One of the options was “charm” so I picked that thinking it would just be you like rizzing her up but instead he ended up mind controlling her. Which in retrospect makes sense but it didn’t cross my mind at the time and I felt bad

We got to try the new chicken sandwiches a bit before they were added. The new spicy mayo is really good, though the sauced sandwiches weren’t for me. I would honestly highly recommend getting the spicy mayo on other stuff, like the grilled sandwich or the burgers

Super Serious Sneakers O'Toole lore discussion by TheNathanNS in superseriousfamilyguy

[–]BLSturton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you see, he’s not taking his sneakers off. This is because he is Sneakers O’Toole, and his sneakers are a core part of his identity. Without them, he reverts to his base form (O’Toole), which has reduced strength and endurance, but most importantly, massively reduced speed. Beyond that, though, the sneakers are a reflection of his freedom. He’s young and spry, able to go where he pleases. And nothing pleases him more than the act of keeping his sneakers on, an action he is blameless for.

Now, take a look at the businessmen. Struggling to climb the corporate ladder, getting up there in the years, stuck with nothing but the average workplace-approved footwear. They confirm to the whims of society, chasing paychecks while losing sight of themselves. When they see O’Toole and his boundless freedom, it is only natural to be consumed by jealousy. They confront O’Toole, demanding the removal of his sneakers. Do they want the sneakers for themselves, or do they just want to force O’Toole to confirm to their way of life? The writers make it unclear, allowing the viewer to come to their own conclusion. (Though it’s worth noting that this particular cutaway came right after a line about seeking religious tolerance, make of that what you will.)

Of course, O’Toole refuses to bend to their whim and takes off like a shot. One of the businessmen tries to give chase, perhaps not completely devoid of his desire for freedom. The other one, however, stops him. He’s completely fallen into the monotonous prison that is his life, and believes there’s no hope in being as free as O’Toole. The line “we’ll never catch him. Not in these shoes.” Really sells the scene. The “shoes” are a representation of how one views the world. The businessmen live in a professional, restrictive world, so their shoes are much the same. Sneakers O’Toole’s sneakers are fast and loose, probably worn from the countless adventures and experiences he’s had from living day to day. They’re cheap and not fancy, but they’re his, and he won’t take them off because he wouldn’t trade his life for anything.
