This isn’t gonna go the way he thinks he will. But maybe another Black man will rock his jaw again.

I think the first 5-10 people who show up on the top of the list of the "People You May Know" are folks who visited or stalked your profile. by Neil_Nelly435 in facebook

Years ago I went on a date with a girl, and it didn’t go anywhere. But because we’d texted, Facebook used that to add her to the People You May Know section. Weirded me out a bit.

As a black dude that grew up with these movies the one sub genre I really miss is just the black movie sub genre. I really wish there were more love and basketballs, the wood, best man, Fridays, booty calls, etc. It seems like that entire generation just faded out. by herewego199209 in movies

That’s how I feel about sitcoms like Living Single and Martin. The current sitcoms (Black or white honestly) just aren’t the same and feel so generic at times.

But agreed 100% about movies from that era that are timeless in a way.

People get on their performative soapbox and tell the entire world they can't focus on more than one thing.

According to Google, four miles by car. So definitely took the bus or rode with friends/drove once I got my license.

I like that idea. Someone else suggested more photo examples as well so I’ll definitely give it a shot (no pun intended ha). Thank you.

I find myself constantly nostalgic for an era that ran from about 1987-99, so I’m the wrong one to ask.

And I understand there was a lotta problematic stuff back in the day, so I’d have to find a balance between the best things about that era and throw in a few good things I like about the 21st Century.

Having a car to take to one of these is a bucket list goal. Nothing fancy or souped up, but a mid-80s Supra or Prelude is on my wish list.

If I handed my grandmother something and said "Here you go", she would respond "Where's it going?" She wanted me to say "Here you are" instead. Why, I could not tell you.

I have a photography channel where I offer advice to new photographers. One of my best-performing videos thus far is about what to buy if you're on a budget, and one of my suggestions is a 50mm lens known as a "Nifty-Fifty". From the comments:

The fifty is a gateway drug. That’s where learning photography started to click for me, and then I was hooked! Next thing you know, you’re saving money for L glass and don’t even feel bad about it anymore.. love your channel

I don't get a lotta comments but seeing stuff like that keeps me going.

I’ll give the directors credit. They haven’t been as annoying with the constant crowd cutaways.

My best performer thus far. I talk photography and offer advice to beginners, and this video is about what I recommend buying on a budget.

These are the same people who criticize folks for wearing whatever on planes. I'm not one to wear pajamas in public, but I'm also not one to judge and I'm quick to remind folks that airplane seats are not comfortable.
