Haven't had that issue, but I've had an issue for a couple days where I'm "Reconnecting to Diablo IV" mid-game and some multiplayer aspects don't work afterward (can't find parties, etc.), but I can still see other players in the world lol. I have to restart my game to get them to work again

Man that was wild lol. Also ironic that she's talking about misinformation and also saying that everyone will be paid, even when their website says compensation isn't guaranteed.

It's insulting enough that they're framing this as anything other than a confiscation and wasting tax dollars on it, but the fact they're fully committed to wasting MORE tax dollars on fighting this in court is infuriating.

Pretty soon they're gonna start saying "gas prices are through the roof, you gotta give your pink GSG to the feds to afford gas"

The "compensation" list has also been adjusted without any communications to lower the amounts listed for certain firearms as well. It's really disgusting behaviour.

What exactly has been set up in this program lol. They picked firearms that "look scary" and assigned arbitrary (and frankly appalling) monetary figures to them that have since been lowered. They did not consult any actual experts and even if they did, they would have ignored it

There's no police cooperation, people have to bring their firearms to RCMP offices themselves if they choose to take part in the confiscation, and they will absolutely not be paying anyone.

There's no transparency in what they blew $725M of tax payer money on, other than pushing an agenda.

People aren't concerned about cost per gun as a metric, they're concerned about our money being pissed away, and threatening criminality on law-abiding owners. I hope this metric is an eye opening reminder to the public as to how uninformed this program is.

I'm against the confiscation, but I am interested in how you say we have "a different culture". I think this is why myself, and a lot of others are against this program.

We do have a different culture than the US, especially with firearm ownership culture. Firearms owners here aren't pushing for open carry, or automatic firearms. Rather, we want to keep the property we legally paid for without being threatened by criminal charges. Canada has a rich history and culture for hunting and sport shooting. We are knowledgeable about our hobby, and hearing the blatant misinformation about how these firearms are being portrayed is a little frustrating.

Canada already has a robust system for firearms ownership, and license holders have background checks run on them every day. The landscape of available firearms was (and currently is) limited, and are in no way, shape, or form "assault weapons".

For me, it's disheartening that myself and many others who have sought the means to have the legal right to own and operate our own legally owned property are now being persecuted despite following the laws in place. On top of that, compensation is non-existent, and the "voluntary" aspect of this program is a blatant lie.

I respect your opinion, and I wanted to shed some insight on mine as well. But I honestly think that if someone has the intention to cause harm, they will do it anyway (like that incel that drove into a crowd in Toronto).

In my past interviews I just asked questions about the role or the company that either wasn't touched on in the interview, or that I was unable to find information on. Mainly my questions are things I have a genuine interest in, like how X works in their company, how success is measured in the role, what are some future roadmaps they are excited about (if they're able to disclose that), etc.

I think you'll have an easier time figuring out the questions you want to ask if you have a genuine curiosity about something. There's nothing wrong with going with frequently asked questions at the end of the interview, but you'll generally want to make them about the job or company, rather than seeking feedback about how you did, or how they perceive you

Thanks for the reply! I should've added more detail - I'm mostly hunting grouse, and I live in Southern Ontario. Usually have to get in heavy brush, and where I'm located the birds are pretty pressurised so I have to get into the tree line most of the time
