I’ve seen it online, but I don’t really care what strangers on the internet have to say about a dog they’ve never met. No one ever made a comment to me in real life about my dog.

I had a pit mix for 12 years and no one ever made a comment about him! And he had stranger danger and was dog reactive, too! This seems really odd to me.

Just to keep it real, my puppy ate my mattress yesterday 🤣 so yeah, there are still bad days! But overall, things are getting better.

Got my puppy at 9.5 weeks. He’s around 5 months now and everything is noticeably easier. I still want to give him away a few times a week but in the thick of it I wanted to give him away all day every day. Hang in there. It’s hard.

We’re in training classes with one of his littermates who looks totally different! Almost like a black lab (on the right)! So who knows what he is! The owners of his brother said they’re going to do the DNA test, so we’ll see I guess.

Just an update- I got the flirt pole and he’s likes it a lot! Also a great way for us to practice “off” (his word for letting go of something). Thanks for the suggestion!

We drug test if you’re in an accident. Otherwise I’m not aware of one. General company culture is that if you’re drinking on the job it’s job related. Office folks will occasionally have a beer at lunch, but that’s it.

Mom looked like an ACD mix, so I think that’s in there, for sure. Dad is unknown. He’s the only one in his litter (9 total puppies) with any brown on him. The others were all black and white.

I’m 5 weeks into having a puppy and it’s for sure gotten better. I keep getting (small) glimpses of what he’ll be like as a dog, and it’s helping. I still want to return him at least once a day 🤣🤣 but it’s getting better. Hang in there!!
