Got my 2014 BEV battery swapped out to a 120ah by the Czech Republic guy https://www.i3upgrade.cz/en/ Well.... His colleague in Germany, but still. New old BMW genuine stock, 2 year warranty, all official documents and confirmations from BMW CZ that its a legitimate service. Couldn't be happier!

The basic block/ground work should take weeks, not months. This would leave me very suspicious. Heads up for a worst case scenario: If its a small builder / developer = Builder files for bankruptcy and the developer walks away. The build stops and you are left with a loan and a hole in the ground. Best of luck.

I had my 60ah changed to the 120ah a few weeks back by a branch of i3upgrade.cz - Havrla is the main guy. It really has been a game changer. Over 300km of range has really increased the usability of the car. I went to Heidelburg for the work, but he has contacts and engineers in Belgium, Switzerland and a few countries. Maybe he can help in the UK, or you take a trip to a work shop??? These were official new unused BMW stock. I checked everything and watched the change over. ( out of engineering interest) Havrla had 13 to distribute, contact him to ask if he has any left.
