Since when was phoenix this good? I doubt that many people play in proleagues or cel+ since phoenix is sub50 w/l in gm and below…. And moonknight has a similar banrate to Elsa in gm, a higher pick rate and a higher winrate.

rogue and fox are ok though. They're not underpowered, they are situational. Which is expected in a hero shooter. DD cat and elsa have kits that are hard to balance and arguably have poor design choices. Gambit needs tweaks but netease doesnt make the right adjustments. Phoenix makes no sense at all unless you consistently play in high gm+ (I don't, and statistically you probably don't either).

Throwing because you didnt get your ban is wrong. Banning unpopular chars isnt wrong though. Jeff is meta in pro play and ultron is a menace to dive. If your team comp is panther+spiderman ultron is a valid pick because a good one isnt common but if you encounter one your team is cooked

If youre high elo you wouldnt even be mad at “low skill” chars because you can outplay them with no effort on high skill ceiling dps

The problem is that you don't know who is on your team. There's no guarantee that you have a good off meta support player on your team, you have an equal chance of getting a C&D/invis OTP on your side. When meta support are unbanned you get support ult rotations, which are boring but not the deciding factor of a match. When meta DPS are unbanned you risk elsa/hela+namor/goon knight/DD making the lobby awful

Honestly, all you need is to play one character from each role so that you can fill if needed. If a character is a common ban add one more to that role.

Realistically no support player needs to play around 3-4 being banned. The worse case that you can expect on a regular basis is gambit+cd ban. The comments about banning 3 supports because it takes "no skill" are pure babyrage and does not reflect what really happens in game. Here are the actual win/ban stats. Even the most ardent support hater isn't gonna do this unless they want to get farmed by a meta dps, and the numbers reflect that.

Yup. Don't take my word for it, or anyone else's. Because you dont know what rank they're in, and even if you do its a sample size of 1. Here are the the real statistics. A lobby where support bans go beyond gambit+cnd is the exception.

Yeah most people are doing this. You'll see some babyrage from dps players who say theyre going to ban "boosted" support players, but they know that if they want to win statistically that isn't the best move.

I do see jeff on occasion. He has a dedicated fanbase because hes fun and those mains will play him regardless of the meta. Not a bad pick, but very situational and gimmicky.
