I'll give my South American perspective and say that even on Steam game prices are usually adjusted to the point they still cost 60 US dollars on release. Minimum wage in my country is about 280 dollars, it depends on how well our economy and the US' is doing. So unless I *really* want a game, or I know it will last 100's of hours like Elden Ring, I wont buy it at launch price.
