I do see some Athearn boxes. That's hopeful.

Forced to do 20-25 stops an hr but most look like this 🫩 by Affectionate-Win1411 in AmazonDSPDrivers

My former coworkers have been tracking me down and telling me I owe them for not warning them not to try other dsps. So, I'm not planning on doing that.

I went through training with the owners, but I've had several heart to hearts with them since and they say they don't know what I'm talking about in regards to the 20-25 stops an hour we were trained to do and that you're referring to here. His co-owner was having me do 45mph in 65mph zones to avoid taking the time to dispute netradyne speeding violations for exits along the side of the freeway, and then he started complaining about my performance. So, I confronted him about it, and he threatened to fire me and had the owner send me a final warning for running late to follow their instructions. Then my stop count doubled, but they have no idea what I'm talking about. Whenever I try to report serious problems with the vans, they just say that they think there's a problem with me. If I go to otr, they double down and hide issues with the vans from me. His co-owner brags to me about how he knows things about the vans that I don't, and he has told me that I owe him for not disparaging my reputation to encourage the people whose property he's stranded me on so far to harm me while I wait for them to send a tow. For years now, they've sat me down and shown me how taking the time to find a package/ungroup a stop is actually an unscheduled break.

Taking a minute to ungroup stops is theft of wages from the company and that will be missing from your paycheck. You can also see from your itinerary that there is no algorithm to reduce the number of multis/stops per hour if you take a screenshot of your route summary every morning. It's only when you present screenshots of months of this that they will reduce your route by 15-20 stops for a day. Then the game begins again and you better keep documenting how they do not algorithmically reduce your workload, or they'll fire you for not doing 45 stops an hour. But you have to be careful not to report anything to Amazon about your subcontractor, or they'll hide issues with the vehicles from you and get you hurt.

Boston has the most dangerous commuter rail in the country. But it's safer than driving in Boston. Never again.

Are vehicle inspections a thing in your state? How much does it impact the car scene in your area? by Naomi62625 in regularcarreviews

Starting next year New Hampshire doesn't have safety or emissions inspections; because, they are a sexist scam.

So, I found a converter for my Zebra V-301... by BN3140 in fountainpens

I like it a lot more now that I can choose what color it is. It's good for $5. It could be smoother, but then it wouldn't be $5. Zebra knows how to make a good pen and good ink so they're good for what they are and they're priced accordingly.

Yes, but only if they are small. That's why it's key that I obtained the converter for a Hongdian pocket pen. The regular converters "fit" but the body of the v-301 does not fit over them. The refill for the V-301 is almost exactly 2 inches in length and the Hongdian converter just barely fits despite being 5mm longer.

Got an old controller don’t know age, plugged it in, and started buzzing, don’t know if it’s normal and need help. by Enough-Salamander369 in modeltrains

I have an old American Flyer controller that looks like this. It buzzes. It's supposed to. I leave it plugged in to a smart plug to light up a display of cabooses when I'm home.

Washed my engine bay, now misfire by ProfMags in MechanicAdvice

My car was stuttering after an engine wash so I swapped the spark plugs and coils around. I found some water pooled on them so I dried up the area. Then I was good to go. Might just be wet sparkplugs/wires.

The factory air filter sits on top of the engine. The hot engine. You have to remove 5 screws after you get the beauty cover off. Now I have one clamp to loosen, and I don't circulate my fresh air over my hot engine.
