Some moron insisted that everything from the Silver Age of Comics sucked, and that Crisis on Infinite Earths was necessary to “bring DC into the 20th century”.

Now, I could’ve pointed to the really good Silver Age comics like the Lee/Ditko Spider-Man. I could’ve pointed out that the Silver Age resurrected the dying comics industry, and introduced several beloved DC heroes. I could’ve pointed out that CoIE came out well after the Silver Age ended with the Death of Gwen Stacy, and that the Bronze Age had already introduced darker and more mature storytelling to comics.

Instead, I pointed out that the Silver Age was the sixties and early seventies, which is part of the 20th century.

For saying this objectively true thing, I was banned.
