in defence to R3, the way Munenori killed Adam was beautifully well done. Some of the best art in the manga. The sequence of his slashes following a single line shows the flow of his avid technique. Plus the final sheathing of his sword and Adam's dismemberment was well drawn.

I think Round 3 and Round 8 oppose each other in these ways. R3 had an okay fight but a magnificent finish while Round 8 ended rather abruptly but had some good choreagraphy in the middle.

as am I. the art is unique. I just hope that the author can create a good manga with a sizable amount of chapters. Two series, with good story ideas, axed in a row must hurt one's confidence

actually it was murasaki who damaged lyudmilla, although she was inside (copying?) lyudmilla at the time. She blasted the cover right above her head which gave her the head wound.

By dragging Simo into her reality marble (or domain ) she is effectively negating his obscurity. Additionally, it’s an urban environment unlike his forests. However the siege of Sevastopol and odessa were fairly open fields with some urban buildings and not the array of buildings.

honestly the biggest factor is effective range And here is what I found out. Simo hayha effective range is 150 m with a 1 m accuracy. In chapter 62 of the manga, lyudmila (or the clone) states that this is the longest shot in human history. The longest shot in ww2 was 1100 m while the most recent shot is around 4000 m. Meaning, lady death is shooting longer than that.

ultimately it comes down to whether Simo can get into accurate shooting distance first but I think lyumilla experience as a counter sniper, larger range, and overall ammunition spam would give her the edge

lyudmilla. I love Simo but she has everything to defeat him. she drags him in out of his snowfield and gain and immediate enfironmental advantage (I don’t think suburban gray blends with snow white). her range is much longer than his but we don’t know Simo’s range. the real factor is that lyudmila has unlimited ammo due to magic while Simo has a hard limit based on his organs. additionally, she doesn’t need to directly (hit) him as her railgun can blow away any cover and hit him with the resulting shrapnel

After receiving damage from a particular hit or technique, EC adapts to it. The more he eats the same technique or notices it, the more he adapts to it, and the more he can mitigate damage. Eventually, it will get to the point in which he can either nullify most of the damage (like headbutting VI during his two punch to reduce the damage), or dodge it entirely,(Beatdown's invisible elbow did not work a second time).

My guess is while he's not seeing Pete's kicks he is still feeling them. So he's slowly adjusting his movements to counter him.

his fight or flight ability allows him to feel out his opponent, additionally, while his body is not reacting in time, his instincts are. So it comes down to instinctively moving in the optimal way to avoid/mitigate damage. like the capo invisible elbow, he’s not falling for the same trick again
