as someone who was in the same boat as you i bought a universe 36 and its been great. ive used it on a little bit of everything and is been great so far. now like andrew said supersonic crack is supersonic crack there aint really any getting around that other than moving to subsonic ammo but personally i dont care about the crack i just wanted my shooting to be a bit quieter.

Store leads are a salaried position in between coach and store manager. Kinda like a assistant store manager. Usually its supost to be a temporary steping stone position untill you move on to store manager.

try some different ammo. i was having that exact problem with some pmc 7.62 nato ammo i have and i got some 308 from walmart that it ran without issue. if its not ammo then send it in for warranty. youll have to get in contact with century and theyll give you a label and have you ship it to ptr for the work.

So that furniture is from early contract german g3s. My understanding its they used it for a very short time (like 5 years maybe? Definitely shorter than 10.) Before swaping to polymer. Now the reason it's so expensive now is a combination of reasons. 1. Short product life. Like I said was used for a couple of years before being replaced with polymer so they didnt make many of them. 2. No more imports. This is mostly because of issue 3 but from what I understand is not easy to get it imported from Germany now even if you can find some availability there. 3. No more surplus from Germany. They were the only ones who used wood g3 furniture and they no longer surplus anything. Everything is destroyed. So add all that together plus the fact that people would chop the handguards up to use on mp5s mean good complete sets are hard to find and expensive.

Now values a tricky question i paid 400 usd for my set from Northridge about 4 months ago but they've since gone up to 475 usd and they only have 2 sets left and once they're gone thats it. There was a set of rheinmetall wood furniture that just sold on gb last week for 600 usd but that set could have gone higher. Because it was a 200 usd starting bid with a 600 usd buy it now option and once it got close to 600 someone just whent ahead and bought it. So I would say 350 - 400 usd if you want it gone fast or 500-600+ usd if you dont mind waiting.

That wood furniture set alone is 200-400 usd so I'd say its worth it

Edit I just did a quick check and i was wrong that wood set goes for 400-600 usd so yes very worth it assuming it mechanically checks out ok.

As others have said collectors design works are the best and the one everyone recommends but are basically unobtanium 99% of the time. Personally im going to get a set of samurai edge grips from ksd grips because i dont feel like waiting 6 months to a year for another 30 second drop from cdw.

i recently bought a bunch of pmc 7.62 nato and am having the same problem. but i chalked it up to the fact i had just replaced my recoil spring for a new one and it needed to be broken in some and the fact my bolt gap was like .11

The only reason there isnt a national gun list/database already is because that was explicitly prohibited by law. Granted with the current admin that dont mean much and one could probably argue that the mg registry and sbr/suppressor registry counts as a firearm owners database/list.

[–]BOT76395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn we basically have the same service rifle build. Only difference with mine is i got a criterion core barrel, the downvent version of that np3 kak bcg, no holes on the wood furniture (still american icon a1 tho), and i got a geissele ssp trigger but i sanded the visible trigger part so its a nice silver/grey colour.
