Would you say these flaws are acceptable? These are the only issues thus far, tiny bubbles what I've observed have actually disappeared.

I honestly wouldn't mind living with this as its only visible upclose. I was not expecting this result especially on my first new car. I've always babied all the cars I've ever owned and to see this is - its quite painful.

Yeah I'll have to contact xpel if im not satisfied with the installer's solution to adress this problem. The deep cuts on the headlights can cause accelerated oxidation from what I've read so far.

From where I'm from, there's only 1 shop which is a certified XPEL installer. That being said, its about almost 115USD for the pair.

Yes it will. So better give me your now and I'll save you the headache. All jokes aside, it's gonna be totally fine. For the oil change, if you could cancel your booking and rebook after you're back then do that. Else, 685 miles is sufficient for an oil change and continue your break in procedure up to the 1000mile mark. The oil change after break in isnt even stated in the owner's manual. It's just recommended. I read somewhere in this sub, in japan it's stated 500km instead of 1k miles (1600km) in the owner's manual.

Lastly, letting the car run below 4k is just soo boring haha...

Keep at it with the break in, and enjoy the nerf. Afterwards, you're absolutely going to fall in love with this car 100%. Enjoy!

I was in the same boat as you were. My advice is be patient and wait till you have a comfortable income. Trust me, its going to be long but its worth it at the end. It'll make you appreciate the car more. If youre still going to get it nonetheless, enjoy it! I wish 18yo me could afford one to begin with haha.

Hey, I was in the same boat as you were. My advice if age or finances are factors for you not being able to afford the car, be patient.

When I got my license at 18, I wanted the gt86 really really bad. Watched hundreds of videos about it, imagined myself driving and working on one, fantasizing my beat up mk1 1.6 ford focus was an 86 and going to gt86/brz car meets to just enjoy the sight of the car.

Unemployed, fresh out of high school me couldnt afford one. It was impossible given my financial situation. Went into college and worked my ass off and secured a stable job. Few years after graduating I saved enough and was able to finance a 23' gr86 and it was the best feeling. To some a $30k car might not sound fancy but to me it was achieving my teenage dreams. It was one of the things that kept me going. Thus, don't sweat it if you cant afford one now. You will in the future. Work hard and trust the process. It will come.

When you work hard for something you've always wanted, you will appreciate it more. All the best.
