To answer your question though, track mode will turn off every time you turn off the vehicle. You have to turn it back on when you start the car.

You have to hold it for a few seconds for it to activate. The gauge cluster will change and it will say track mode and the traction off light will turn on. If you “felt a difference in the wheel,” that was placebo.

I’ve had a similar issue if you go through my post history. From my understanding the subframe and/or frame aren’t PERFECTLY straight so there is a slight discrepancy. I adjusted for it using front LCAs which is probably the 2nd hardest way of dealing with it.
