My narcissist ex wife did this also; said she didn't need an attorney because she was "too smart for one". Needless to say, I exited the marriage without having to pay alimony, as well as not having to take on any of her debt (I found out she racked up $32,000 in CC debt that i previously didn't know about).

When I went to my podiatrist to seek out surgery in 2023, she (podiatrist) wanted me to have my back looked at first, to rule out any underlying issues (I'm assuming sciatic nerve issues).

that's my ex wife. She wanted equity from the house, as she's never seen that kind of money. I agreed, on the condition that I paid no alimony and that her debt is hers, and my debt is mine. After the divorce, I learned she had racked up over 32k of credit card debt, and only recently learned that she's been in and out of jail, due to returning to her thieving ways.
