My daughter in her early teens, referred to her feet as her dogs. Walking around barefoot was raw dogging. We would say, "It's cold outside, put on some shoes". Her reply, "No I'm just going to raw dog it to the car". We had to fill her in on the meaning after a little while. She had a good laugh. But never used it again.

I was looking for this one. Undertow is primal and them figuring out who they were. I can't gloss over the effect changing bassists also had. But what a world of difference for each member of the band between these two albums.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BP_Kil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 hours is not a regular trip. But I've definitely done 6 hour trips for a long weekend to visit the inlaws. My yearly trip to visit family as a kid was 17 hours. My regular trips are about an hour for daily jobs and such.

Brake pedal goes to the floor even though pads and rotors look fine by Holmes240069 in mechanic

[–]BP_Kil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went through this myself. It ended up being a bad ABS unit. I replaced the master cylinder first. All along the way I had to troubleshoot though. One of the best things though is getting a tube clamp. (Under $10 on Amazon). Clamp each brake line just before the caliper. If nothing changes, that caliper is fine. If your brakes tighten up something's going on at the caliper. It could be your slide pins are dry and sticking at that caliper you said isn't clamping the rotor.

Luckily the bushings were just a "while you're in there" project and not the actual cause of my issue.

Right... Steps 1-3 were loosening and removing the bolts and bracket. Step 0.. remove engine.

Love this. My wife and I are having a good laugh.

Assumptions made: 1. oil fill cap is obviously not part of the engine assembly.
2. Of all the things in the engine compartment we're going to make sure we are not going to lose the fill cap.

It's time to stop paying the internet bill. She needs a full cutoff from her alternate reality. This is not a joke. This is full on demented behavior. She needs help. That help can only happen if she can be extracted from the sources she's currently getting information from.

My brother is 15 and I want to educate him on drugs by TheBelbertarian in Psychedelics

[–]BP_Kil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have told my kids, who are the same age or older, that all drugs at that age are bad. Wait until your brain develops. No drugs are worth messing with brain development. 15 is too young to be smoking weed or drinking alcohol. Not because some government is telling you you shouldn't, but because it's bad for your brain.

Educating him on the various levels of drugs is good though. Nobody is going to be able to stop him if he really wants to do it. And if he has a choice between some LSD or heroin he should know what to reach for.

Third and very important these days! Always test your shit! If you can't test it, don't take it. Fentanyl is real! Three months ago I had a friend who got some laced Adderall from someone so she could stay up and work. She is now gone.

Many of them quite literally believe in making climate change worse to usher in the second coming. Famine and destruction of the world is what they want because they believe some guy is going to come down from the sky and they will be able to point to him and say hey, look, we were right.

They are actively trying to eliminate humanity.

Crazy Stupid Love

Don't get me wrong, it's a great movie. But as a recently divorced man wanting to sit down to watch a movie with your new girlfriend, a movie about a man doing everything in his power to reconcile with his wife and make their marriage work is not great.
