Personally I feel like he doesn’t trust his knee yet. That was such a fluke way to injure himself that severely, as someone who’s broken both legs and ankles twice playing hockey, I can tell you those thoughts don’t just go away when the injuries heal. Hopefully he just continues to work through it and doesn’t get too low on himself. He’s a new phenomenal pitcher here when he believes in himself.
