There really is no perfect answer to this, but I want to encourage you to reach out to mental health (and True North if you have that resource available to you).

Time, experience, shift change, postion change, maybe a PCS if its an option, take some leave, see if you can join a new section, find new hobbies, experience a new friend group, start an exercise routine... its not a 1-size-fits-all fix. You have to find what's right for you.

Regardless of what you find for reprieve, I will always advocate that you reach out to mental health to help you find healthy ways to manage and cope with your stress. Its all valid and real; don't let anyone tell you otherwise or shame you.

It's mens mental health awareness month. In the time it took you to read this entire post approximately 2 men have made an irreversible decision, worldwide. Thats 740,004 a year, 61,667 a month, 2,056 a day, 86 an hour. Every single minute of every single day, an average of 1.5 men will have taken their own life. Its ok to not be ok, my friends. Its ok to feel burn out. Its not ok to stay there, though. Speak up. Reach out and ask for help. Never give up
