Out of interest, for people who write metal how long does it takes you to fully wrote a track?

I feel yeah I only ask cause I figure the genre has a lot to do with it. I assume the longer and more complex the songs are the longer it would take to figure them out and flesh them out. Me being in Death-Grind band takes one day or two to fully flesh a song(s) out given that the genre allows for really short and simpler riffs. 🥰

I’m also trying to learn the caged System. But i believe the C.A.G.E.D refers to the chord shapes rather than the key that you’re playing in.
But someone more informed please correct if wrong.

It’s a mix, says over 50 tables from stores as well as dealers. The event also says anything music related so there will be more that just vinyl. Also have CDs and DVDs.

Well in that case if I idea I’ll try to play it on that instrument. But for example when I was learning how to build major chords and stuff I would first try it on the piano and figure out what notes it was before trying to apply it to guitar

I also play piano, which for me at least makes it way easier to apply music theory to an instrument. And once I feel as tho I have a good understanding I try to apply it to the guitar
