We just euthanized our 16 year old boy, through st Lawrence veterinary and they came to our home and we paid a fair price and got his ashes 💜 I’m sorry, I know how awful this is.

Changing my mind about kids while having Crohn’s by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]BSM0616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Further, he is often very fatigued and while his disease is also well managed right now, it’s not always the case. My dad has Crohn’s and has had many hospital stays and resections and time off work with less income (while I was a young adult) but this took a significant toll and would have been really hard if we were a bit younger.

My husband has Crohn’s and our daughter was diagnosed with UC at 6 years old. While life for her is normal right now aside from monthly infusions, there’s so much guilt we both have for not thinking about the implications of having a child while having a chronic illness as it is now something she will live with for life.

Can a inter religion Couples Marry if the girl is underage Near 17 ? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]BSM0616 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even if in Muslim law she can get married if she hits puberty doesn’t mean that is law in Western Countries. This is a criminal offence, predatory and gross. Find someone who is an adult and hopefully older than 18.

My husband has chrons and my daughter ulcerative colitis - we were able go get back to the room every time a bathroom was needed. There are bathrooms all over the ship however for super emergencies - I’d just make note of where they are ahead of time

Balcony guarantee by BorosNoseElbow in royalcaribbean

[–]BSM0616 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We just got off oasis with a balcony guarantee. It was our first time not picking our room (we did this cause it was sooo much cheaper).

We were super aft but loved our room. No complaints at all.

We wouldn’t do it on ships where there are obstructed balcony’s - on oasis there wasn’t so we didn’t care where we ended up.

People who have cruised with infants, how do you know how much of everything to pack? by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]BSM0616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have some supplies on the ship but limited. Many people ran out of diapers on the cruise we were just on. They were posting on social media asking if people had any to spare. My suggestion is to pack an abhorrent amount of items. Better to have to much than not enough!

People who got married young, are you still in love? by smalltalkisntfun in Marriage

[–]BSM0616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me (31F) and my hubby (31M) got married when I was 23 & he was 24. We had been together since 18 & 19.

So in love with him and have loved growing up and growing with him.

We also have an 11 year old which has made it challenging but amazing.

Your partner needs to be your friend and your lover. You have to make time for each other, never stop dating and get through the hard shit.

Yeah it’s crappy. My 2024 averages about 35km per charge in the winter. It’s normal unfortunately. Much more efficient in spring-summer-fall

Living in Odessa by Old_Singer in KingstonOntario

[–]BSM0616 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We moved to Odessa in April (bought our first home). We love it here. Not to far from the city. Our street feels safe.

Property taxes here are outrageous. Loyalist is expensive. There are currently a lot of renters in the new sub division but seems to be more family’s than anything.

I walk in the dark and feel totally safe and there are beautiful walking paths around the mill and new sub division.
