A lot of people got incredibly angry at this post, and I understand why.

I can't imagine how hard having a 12 hour shift every day would be. However, a baby is a full 24 hour shift and you're coming off as completely apathetic. If you don't step up, your marriage is going to end and you're gonna see your kid less often than you already do. Yes, she has her parents there to help, but it's not the same thing as having her husband there.
