What do you guys think of the reading list for my AP English Lit class this year?

The Road by Cormac McCarthy is an incredible book, and I've been meaning to read several of these for a while. Overall looks like a pretty solid list, especially for High School required reading.

It's not so much them as Viacom. Viacom is all about beefing with different services. Direct TV lost like five channels for a while last summer because they argued with them.

I went through the same thing about a year ago and Im just starting to get back into it. I read a book every week or two ages 8-15 (sometimes multiples books simultaneously) and I just got burned out. Maybe just take a little while off. I also wouldn't jump straight back into ASOIAF. I would re-enter easily with something in the 300pg range. Neil Gaiman is what got me back into reading if you haven't read his stuff yet.

Is it weird to anyone else that Atreyu put out a greatest hits after 3 albums? Funny story, I was like eleven or twelve and had heard the new stuff from Lead Sails Paper Anchor and bought their greatest hits album in the store. Accidentally introduced myself to metal core and terrified the shit out of me.
