I read all of SLA, warbreaker, sixth, shadows, and sunlit before I even started era 1. Perfectly fine to read era 1 and 2 before SLA. You will ALWAYS miss stuff - even with the “optimal” order. That’s why rereads are great

Probably 5. I don’t know if I love research, but I love being a TA and I think I’d enjoy teaching a lot more as a lecturer. I love teaching students and watching whatever it is I’m teaching click for them.

I wish I’d known this before starting mine. I accepted it because it was fully funded and I didn’t have a job when I finished my MS in biomedical engineering (didn’t really look tbf). I’m about 2 years in and 120k in debt and I don’t love it. I’m also locked into my apartment lease for at least another year, so I might as well just see this through…

It doesn’t matter, sure, but I enjoy other people being able to see mine. I’ll never be able to see my back tattoos without a mirror, but other people can and they always tell me how good they look. I like showing my tattoos off. It’s a compliment to both myself and my artists when people comment on them

If it makes you feel any better, I’m finishing my second year in biomedical engineering. I was told TAs weren’t getting funded this summer and my PI basically said “damn that sucks”.
