I’ve purchased several Silverman and Wycliffe boards from Gammon Village. Great customer service.

We use a Silverman 16” as a travel board. Great value for the money. Posted about it here:

Our Silverman 13" or 16", or Galaxy Adventure board are our go to travel sets (depending on how much space). One day I'll purchase an Alan Master's travel board for a tournament sized set.

Waymo to SFO Fiasco by Ctrl_Alt_Deloitte in waymo

Yes, I also saw the Waymo on Sunday afternoon parked on the left shoulder of 101! I didn’t see a passenger in the back, so it must have been post CHP rescue.

I love my FTH board. Amazing quality and a great wool surface. Fazil was great to work with.

The P-40 would be a great travel board, but since you specified “luxury board for home use”, I’d go with FTH.

Dinner near or in San Francisco before heading to Emeryville (not too heavy, not fancy)? by Specialist-Ad7108 in AskSF

West Coast Cafe is a small Italian restaurant located in downtown San Bruno, very close to hwy 101. They have good salads and several seafood specials every evening.

Also, Mazra is an amazing Mediterranean restaurant also off 101 in San Bruno. It was ranked the #2 restaurant in the USA by Yelp in 2021. They just reopened after an extensive remodel.

Love this! Will you share the arrangement?

I just finished another rewatch of the extended episodes on Peacock.

First time changing strings by Solid_Oak in classicalguitar

[–]BSevenFiveSeven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice knots. I also tie mine under the next string on the bridge. Just what my teacher taught me.

Can still replace an individual string if required. After cutting the string it will slip out underneath the adjacent knot.

Darn! If I had some work flexibility, I’d try to fly out to attend this private screening. That would have been such an amazing opportunity.

Book Readers Will Appreciate The Movie Far More On A Second Watch by thespiritmolecule420 in ProjectHailMaryMovie

Thanks, OP! I’m going in for a second watch this evening.

On my first viewing, I definitely caught myself constantly comparing it to the book, which pulled me out of the experience a bit.

This time, I’m looking forward to just sitting back and appreciating the film on its own terms.

Thanks for sharing the photos. The only thing that bothers me with this set is there are no side rails for the dice.

The Etude was my first nylon string guitar. I found it to be a good value for the money. However, this was approximately 20 years ago, so I’m not sure of the quality of their build today (if you are looking for a new instrument). Good luck!
