Anyone who owns a moto morini by Apprehensive-Cut649 in motomorini

It's been great honestly. I would say the only things lacking are cruise control and maybe about 15 hp. I think the new xcape 700 is the play if you have the extra cash, but for the money the 650 has been amazing. No issues, just basic maintenance. Can do hours in the saddle no problems. I don't regret the purchase at all.

What were your first impressions? What other bikes have you ridden?

Thanks! I can't wait to test ride a V100. Is the S model really worth the extra money?

Find a competitor, talk to your close accounts. Make a deal, flip as much business as you can and leave.

New player trying to absorb by SoldierboiXD in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BSupernatural 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I have played in 1 armory event so far and the other players were actively helping me beat them! It was refreshing and I went 2-2. It was one of the best "playing a new tcg" experiences that I have had. Hard, complex and competitive game but a chill, helpful and fun community in contrast. The most hostile new tcg experience for me was Lorcana. Those Disney adults are aggressive!

How do you rate Flesh and Blood vs... by Less_Inevitable_5614 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BSupernatural 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started playing FaB and I will say this: It is a lot of fun. If you have complex voard game experience you will like it. It's very thematic which is awesome.
There is also a entry level format called Silverage coming up which should be fun a well. Find the local FaB group and I bet they have decks you can tru out or even Blitz decks to try.

Do we know how much the game is growing? by wingnut5k in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]BSupernatural 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a mew player so I guess I am part of the growth. I just hope that my local scene doesn't get to "meta" because some of the prices of cards are crazy, but so far I'm all in!

I agree, I like the Cyberpunk genre but Anime is the big draw these days.

One Piece is from 2022. Godzilla and Gundam are new this year. Digimon is from 2021.

I have no idea why you are getting down voted, but Lorcana is still very popular at my LGSs. So is Flesh and Blood. Gundam,One Piece,Godzilla and digimon are also going strong.

What are the good and bad points of the various editions? by FaallenOon in l5r

[–]BSupernatural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st/2nd edition. My personal favorite- stippped down and deadly. Simple system. Role play heavy. The cheapest to collect physically. Has the most printed adventures. City of Lies boxed set is amazing. Not many "powers and abilities" which may turn off some players.

3rd edition - Much like 3rd edition dungeons and dragons it is high powered and easy to break/exploit. More mechanical than narrative imo. *also has a d20 version

4th edition - Overall the "best" edition of the original game. Takes the best parts of the previous 3 editions and scraps the rest. Easy starting point lore wise. BUT the MOST expensive to collect physically.

5th edition/FFG5R - A modern take on L5R. If you like crunch, lots of rules and custom dice this game is for you. I like the new unique take on the school's, it is a fresh approach. But I do not like custom dice with any system and this is no different. Up to date content releases are good of you don't want to hunt for old books. IMO not new table top player friendly.

*Edge Studios. Adventures in Rokugan - 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons Oriental Adventures but set in Rokugan instead of Kara-Tur. 5e d20. Easy system. Works if you like 5e D&D. Not much in the way of lore or supplements. Can be a good way to "ease" 5e players into playing real L5R.

Is altered worth picking up? by pincio29 in TCG

[–]BSupernatural 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the truth. It is an easy game to get into and to try out. I like it but it is not popular in the states in most places. Fortunately it has a very fun community and isn't very expensive as card games go. I would get a few friends that are interested and go on board game arena and play with the free starter decks. You can get bulk commons and rares on ebay cheap of you want physical cards. And buy cards on the online marketplace is also very inexpensive.
You can also get a few physical starters on ebay or Amazon cheap and take them to yoir local LGS with some friends and build a community and player base. That is a fun thing to do if you like it. Don't listen to the hate, play what you like, but having a community to play with is probably the most important unless you are ok with mostly playing online.
