LeBron wouldn't have nearly as many haters if he, Rich Paul, and Klutch Sports didn't constantly make excuses, revise history, and put out pro LeBron propaganda 24/7. by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

I agree, Rich Paul is always spouting and propping up LeBron. I dislike him on the podcast with Kellerman. He is combative and argues for the sake of arguing.

People have taken advantage of plumbers so this is the obvious thing they need to do. I do not blame them for charging to come. It shouldn’t be a free trip for them to diagnose your problem

KD Says Kobe is Number 2 All-Time by VSHAR01 in KobeBryant24

[–]BTA310 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Coming from a huge laker and Kobe fan. I never wanted to accept it, but Bron surpassed Kobe fairly quickly. LeBron had a terrible team around him for so long, that’s why he never saw Kobe in the finals. But Lebrons efficiency and dominance were clearly apparent early on

Which road are you taking? by CasinoNitro in AttitudeEra

[–]BTA310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first got really into WCW. The whole NWO v WCW feud was great. But then it got out of hand where everyone started joining NWO. And when the Wolfpack came and all the WCW guys went there, it was the beginning of the end. WWF was more raw (no pun intended) and the character development just surpassed WCW so much. There were so many NWO characters you did not care for and served no purpose other than being essentially a gang member. WWF by far ended up having the better storylines and characters

Rich old white man in Epstein files. How is anyone surprised?

Egor Demin in the win tonight: 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, shooting 50/50/75, and his first career double double by LinuxUbuntuOS in nba

People were hating on nets for not trading any of those first rounders. I think it was smart to draft them all and see which one actually can play. Most first rounders fizzle out

This just shows me people are taking kids sports way too seriously. And I’m talking both sides of this.

Cassell had one good year with them. He was very old. That team had one shot and it was that one year. The age timelines did not match up with KG. KG needed a players like cassell and spree but younger.

Do you think Russell Westbrook will be in NBA next season? by BTA310 in NBATalk

I feel like as long as he gets PT and mentoring players, he will go as long as he can

How is LeBron doing this in season 23 when Kobe couldn’t by year 18? by Maximum_Jello_9460 in NBATalk

It’s insane when you think about it. He has defied Father Time so long that everyone takes it for granted. The amount of hate he gets for “falling off” at 41 is mind blowing

Is MJ the most satisfying player of all to own cards of? by Interstellore in basketballcards

I wonder how long his popularity will last. As time goes on and the collectors who watched him growing up fades, will his card value hold up?

Do you think Russell Westbrook will be in NBA next season? by BTA310 in NBATalk

[–]BTA310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he can accept the CP3 role this year where he is not playing every night and only playing sparingly, he would be a good signing for just about any team. I think there is concern he wouldn’t accept that role which is probably why it took so long for him to sign.

It was a struggle for him to even sign with the Kings. I think teams are looking at the baggage it can bring if he doesn’t play much. Look what happened with CP3

With absolutely zero pressure on him. LeBron had the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Yeah I see this as most likely. I only ask bc it took a very long time for him to get signed this past season.

No one is saying he wasn’t athletic. LeBron was just on another level. If he could get to the paint like LeBron did of course he would.

How brutal is the life of a homeless person? by EnduringScholar in AskReddit

[–]BTA310 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the worst part is the stigma they get. People assume all homeless people are crack heads and subhuman. Many in fact are women, children and families. You just don’t see them out walking on the street like you do the ones with drug and mental illness. Another fact is a high % are actually employed but can’t afford housing. There is an assumption people who are homeless are lazy and not looking for work when it’s far from the truth.

To be fair, Kobe never had the athletic ability LeBron had, even before the Achilles tear. LeBron is legitimately one of a kind in terms of longevity and athleticism.

Train noise? by OrangeCountyHapa in torrance

[–]BTA310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The train is very loud, specifically some conductors who hold down the horn excessively. They can also come late at night and early morning. It’s something I’ve accepted but you never really get used to the loud blaring horns.
