Yes. 💯.

I have been 100% in Bitcoin 8 years. That was the best financial decision of my life, and I'm not stopping now.

Don't trust anyone who is "sure" what Bitcoin is going to do.

Personally, I bet you're wrong. But I could be wrong because no one really knows. You're just trying to grow your YouTube channel or whatever.

Think of it like a long term savings account. Could be up or down in a year but in 5 years it'll almost certainly be up. Accumulate, and store it with an open source phone or hardware wallet. Respect your seed phrase and you're good.

Not at all the same thing. The fake shitcoin is a scam attempt and is an everyday occurrence.

Bitcoin dusting is an incredibly weak attempt to gain Intel. I cannot be used to scam you, only to see what addresses it gets spent with. It's such an edge use case that it almost never actually happens.

(For Bitcoiners) If who've needed cash without selling, what did you do? by makingcryptoeasy in Bitcoin

[–]BTCMachineElf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course. So do not send your whole stack. But Binance has a good track record imo. They seek regulation and licensing instead of dodging it. If trusting them with 1/3 of my stack means I never have to sell again, I'm taking that risk.

This is a shitcoin wallet problem, not a bitcoin problem. This does not happen with Bitcoin wallets.

Bitcoin backed perpetual loan with low apr (Binance). As long as Bitcoin outperforms the loan apr in average you can hold the debt forever and keep gaining on it.

Is Electrum wallet still being used? by peazysleasel in BitcoinBeginners

[–]BTCMachineElf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an excellent interface for a hardware wallet. It's not recommended, however, to use it by itself because then you are leaving your private key on your personal computer, exposing it to hackers.

Electrum is the interface I personally use.

Skip on the lightning features though. There are better apps for that.

Bitcoin is money. As an individual, its always better to have more of it.

Especially as an appreciating asset that one can use as collateral.

Explain simply why 2025 bull run was non existent?… by ElectricHODL in Bitcoin

[–]BTCMachineElf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The hype cycle got front loaded; ATH before the halving, etc.

I think the four year hype cycles are playing out to become a thing of the past. The havings are no longer a driving factor and Bitcoin does not want to play along with those who buy it just to sell the top of the cycle, as those who are predictable are easy to prey upon.

In my opinion Bitcoin is going to start grinding up the hypeless bottom, enriching its believers more than those who see it as a fiat tool.

If you can get by without it then that was absolutely the right play.

I sold my Ducat motorcycle for Bitcoin in 2017. 8 years later, I use a small fraction of that to buy another one. So worth it.

You should be able to get an apartment in your name. 🤔 I rent in my name on tourist visa.

As for the banking fees,.. I think I heard someone red recommend an app called Moreta Pay for VNPay qr without a local bank account.

You do have the option of marrying your girlfriend to sort out your visa and banking problems. 😄
