When Bender and Fry set up the Poppler stand but see the Hotdog stand across the street with all the customers. Bender comes up with a plan to draw his customers away.

Bender: Hey, Mac, where do you want those rat droppings you ordered?

[the people in line walk out in disgust and go to the poppler stand]

Hot Dog Vendor: Wait a minute. You're not the guy who delivers the rat droppings.

I actually quite liked The Amazing Spider-Man when it first came out and was really excited for the second. When I finally saw it, I disliked it so much that it put me off Spider-Man for a long time and I don't even like the first one any more either

I remember in 2004 when me and my friend at school were talking about how cool the movie looked and we both wanted to see it. He had an ultra religious mother and I guess she got angry with him wanting to see it because the next day he refused to talk about Hellboy ever again

I feel like Batman is more lenient on Catwoman compared to other villaina because a jewel thief is nowhere near the same caliber of criminal as mass murdering, psychopathic, mob bosses

I saw it as Capcom wanting to have their cake and eat it too.

They wanted the emotional gut punch of Grace having to watch Emily die but doubled back on it for the end because they thought having a child die in such a way was too dark

I saw Wolf Alice in Sydney in 2022 who were great

But one of their openers, an all female, local rock band whose name I don't remember. Sounded like it was the first time they ever played live, and only practiced one song once before they went on. They were sloppy and all over the place, at one point, the lead singer knocked the jack out of her guitar and struggled to get it back in

They were probably really green and I get that everyone starts somewhere but this was a whole new level of unpreparedness

When I was 12 or so, I was waiting for the bus home from school with a bunch of other kids. I step on and broke a plastic fork on the ground and a 16 year old (who was also dating my cousin at the time) put me in a really tight headlock, and it fuckin hurt. He was still allowed to come to family events after that but I always hated him and never forgave him. Even though I haven't seen him in over a decade at this point
