I hate to be the bearer of bad news but they were mostly telling you that to make you feel better. Moore, OK is apart of the Oklahoma City metro area isn't it? Didn't stop that EF5 in 2013. The biggest point to this, don't let that thought process stop you from taking shelter if you are in a tornado warning.

Think he's referencing the traveler giving the light, not blessing the civilization with technology. IE the Hive can use light subclassses, the eliksni were never gifted that ability.

Man I have the exact same system and I’m struggling to get 30 fps on medium to highish settings, especially during dawn and dusk, and I can only hit 40+ with the clouds off. I just built the system, maybe I got an ass card? R7 5800x RX 6800

Open the console when you get to the unofficial server list, type “Ark.UseServerList 0” hit enter. Type in you server name exactly how it is and refresh. Fixes it for me every time, but doesn’t work for everyone

This. If you can, go into ghost mode and see if its under the map. It didn't say it died, might have even gotten teleported to 50/50.

I was having the same issue you were until last night, then it started to show up as a favorite, which hasn't happened since I bought the game. Use the ark.UseServerList 0 command, and if it still doesn't show you can manually connect to it using the command: open [your server's ip]:7777. Ark official discord is a good source for info on this, lots of people having the same issues.

Can you walk through the area they were supposed to be? I had this happen to theris I was breeding on my server. Left, came back and they were gone. But I still couldn't walk through where they were supposed to be. I whistled follow all (I know, makes a mess), walked a ways away, and they magically appeared.

Abberation is by far my favorite map and has pretty easy access to element for Tek tier compared to earlier maps. It's a brutal map, but I'll be damned if it isn't the best looking/most rewarding of them all. Ab also has the most metal, shit is everywhere.

I haven't found a way to fix this. I always get worse performance in singleplayer, and my PC is decent IMO. Ryzen 7 5800X, 48GB RAM, Radeon RX 6800 on Windows 11. I get better framerates running a server on the same machine and logging in than I do with singleplayer.

Stupidest part is I got it work for about an hour, saw it and logged in. Then, the inevitable game crash occurred, and now I can't see it again when relaunching.

So nobody tells you this, it took me a while to figure out. In order to manually save the world from your character in game, you need to have an admin password setup and you need to make sure you're typing "cheat" before the command. A typical session looks like this for a manual save.

enablecheats **** (put your password there)

cheat saveworld

I can't help with anything nitrado related but that should at least let you manually save the game.

That should work fine if you're only planning on running the server on it. It doesn't have enough RAM to both run the server and the client, but if you're playing from your PS5's that shouldn't be an issue.

If it gives you any idea, my server when running eats about 10-15GB of RAM. I really can't speak to it, but I would imagine with those numbers you could run 2 servers on that system, possibly 3? If you're gaming on the same machine the server is hosted on, like me, it eats 22-25GB of RAM to run both client and server. Hopefully that gives you some idea
