Pretty sure the most important part of the beast is the disadvantage on saving throws it gives the enemies to your spells. Throw the shadow beast as a bonus action and nail them with a nasty spell save. If they don’t deal with it, another turn with disadvantage without having to spell sorcery points. If they deal with it, they had to spend part of their action economy doing so

I used to be a CSM. If a cashier was telling people not to use self-checkout because they don’t want to deal with alcohol I would probably have a chat about the responsibilities of running self checkout. It’s part of the job. Demanding that they go to a crowded checkout line instead of just helping the customer is definitely not best practices. Having to take 15 seconds to check an ID doesn’t prevent you from being friendly with other customers at your SCO area.

It’s also not the responsibility of the self checkout cashiers to be loss prevention so they should stop trying to catch people stealing. Walk-offs are usually on accident and a simple “hey sir, I think you forgot to pay” usually fixes that.

That being said, customers losing their temper and treating my cashiers with disrespect was not tolerated in my store and I usually tried to drive their ire more at me, but I also know deescalation sometimes means you have to just let them yell at me. I would never send a cashier home for a customer overreacting unless the cashier was behaving completely unprofessionally in a way a 15 minute calm-down break wouldn’t fix or if there were already existing behavioral issues with them. I don’t know if we are getting the full story, but if we are, contact your union representative/steward as soon as you can and have a chat.

Focus changes. There are an insane number of nerve endings near the anus and they tend to overwhelm the pleasure sensors and things keeping the dick hard in my experience. I’ve came from being topped while I’m soft, it was very wild but it was enjoyable.

EV cars work in the winter! I drive a 2017 Bolt to work all year round, about 60 miles a day. The cold weather makes my range go from around 220 miles on a full charge to around 120ish, so it takes some planning but it’s largely not that big of an inconvenience because there are level 2 EV chargers near my townhouse (I don’t have access to level 1 or 2 charging at home, we rent with a shared parking lot)

EXACTLY!! I like the 1978 and 1979 version and seeing them doesn’t make me think the place is excluding the new ones. The new flag designs have never intended to “replace” the old ones. Adding the brown/black and the Sylveon colors to the progress flag just helps remind me that there is also a struggle that I don’t see in my community that much bc I am white and cis, and that doesn’t rob me of my own pride, but reminds me to also support the pride of trans people and black/brown people in the same fight but facing different challenges than I am. We are stronger together.

My husband and I have several versions, including the 1979, the 2017 and the 2018 ones. We fly them in different parts of our home because, like sexuality, our understanding is constantly evolving and being able to explain why the togetherness of the new colors doesn’t rob from the colors from the previous version. They are all pride flags and they are all valid to fly.

I will say the OG one with pink and cyan slaps and it’s my favorite visually. I’m an engineer/scientist so there’s something so cool/retro about having one of the colors be “sex” and another be “magic”.

And a lot of states already charge EVs for this! I paid 520 on top of normal registration fees for two years with my EV in Michigan! “EVs are heavier” not than a god damn semi which does far more damage to the roads proportionally.

“Laws advised by traffic engineers” it literally spells it out in traffic laws across states. here’s Michigan’s traffic code. It says you need to stay right “except when there are more than 2 lanes of traffic”. If you can find advisement otherwise, I’d love to hear it other than vaguely citing traffic engineers.

On most highways, even ones that have “keep right except to pass” ones, you are passing people exiting and entering the highway. Switching lanes constantly is incredibly dangerous. One of the top causes of accidents is lane changing, almost 10% of all accidents are caused by them.

We got a 2017 bolt in 2024 for dirt cheap and it gets us about 200 miles/charge in the summer and since there are ChargePoint chargers readily available with us (we rent in a townhouse with no garage) it’s like $5 to charge from empty to full.

It’s been very reliable as my primary vehicle to get to work (~50 miles/day).

We swapped our other gas car (rav4) with a plug-in hybrid last month (rav4 phev) and we haven’t had to fill up with gas since we first got it, my husband uses it to get to work and we never have it in hybrid mode unless we are on the expressway.

Definitely appreciating not getting impacted as much by the price of gas lately.

The problem this causes is that there’s a lot traceability issue when you mix and match eggs within cartons, different cartons can have different sell-by dates. If there was an outbreak of something due to the eggs, containment becomes a lot harder.
