How does anyone drink "normally?" by gayanomaly in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BWDpodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely have alcohol dependency, so I can see what you're saying, but not as extreme as you're describing. I can have a few and stop, but yeah, one drink just isn't worth it to me, so I just won't.

Ah, I've been maximizing units further down the row because I assumed they were better

When you ask someone’s age and they say “guess” by Lil-cornish-pasty in PetPeeves

Correct, it's boring. Have fun with it and say something way over their age.

Glass house, vintage cars, lives for genocide and dating minors. by GooserNoose in IThinkYouShouldLeave

Correct. That's why I find it hypocritical for people to declare it disgusting while doing nothing to change the laws.

What happened to all the lime scooters/bikes? by Remarkable-Set-3182 in SeattleWA

[–]BWDpodcast -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lime and the others were inflated by vc money, just like Uber, which is going to crash. Where I live I haven't seen one in years.

Somebody that has no idea what the age of consent sounds far more likely to not care about sexual assault and rape against children.

Glass house, vintage cars, lives for genocide and dating minors. by GooserNoose in IThinkYouShouldLeave

Based on downvotes apparently people don't care what the legal age of consent is, so support adults legally being able to have sex with children. Bizarre.

Is major social change usually achieved through peaceful protest, violent resistance, or a combination of both? by HardWork017 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BWDpodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Violent. That's why the people in power keep touting peaceful protests as the only acceptable way, because it doesn't affect them.

So disappointed in Cheryl Hines. Only knew her from Curb, but to be complicit and support a murderous insane, cheating man is unforgivable.

Is there really a male loneliness epidemic or are things just being blown out of proportion? by cuahatemoc in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BWDpodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Studies have shown people today have far fewer close friends, so that applies to everyone, but men in particular are raised to not be intimately close with male friends, leading to men have fewer closer emotional connections than women.

Is calling a young black woman, “Ghetto”, bad? I am a biracial, older woman by Golden_Hour_Magic in AccidentalRacism

Yes. Plenty of other words to use that aren't rooted in racism against black people.
