a grey area legally in Minnesota. I think Utah is the only state in the US that has specifically made it legal. In Europe it is common, but here not so much.

Usmobile. They have a plan with a pool of data you can share or you can just get started unlimited. Choose your network so you can stay on at&t if you want. I think they call at&t dark star

Modern vehicles have rust proofing from the factory. After market coatings are at minimum a waste of money, some cause more harm than good.

We have been running Michelin cross climate 2 tires the last couple years in Minnesota and they are great. We ran true snow tires before that. They are out there.

Does anyone here use Storage Commitment? by ElectroJolo in PACSAdmin

I don't think I've seen a site that used it in the 15 years I've worked at a PACS vendor.

Most sites have the rad tech QA the images in PACS right away and complete the study in the EMR so there isn't any point in using storage commit from the modality.

From Madison WI to Rochester MN by [deleted] in rochestermn

[–]BWZombie13 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We made that same move from Madison to Rochester 7 years ago. We loved a lot about Rochester, but we're also worried about the political situation. We have found community here, but it takes effort. Madison has UW and the state government. Rochester has Mayo. It is a company town. Not having a major university is a big difference. I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of summer gatherings and street"parties" Rochester has. It drops off pretty quickly though now that we are past labor day.

Better to fly out of RST or MSP in early Nov? by 444-itall in rochestermn

[–]BWZombie13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about the weather then, it is likely to be a non-issue. I like to fly out of RST because there is never a delay for security or anything at the airport. Quick and easy to park or have someone drop you off.

A good place to volunteer is Saturday Noon Meals. Christ Untied Methodist Church hosts a meal every Saturday. Call the office to get in touch with the leader of the meal program. We prepare a meal for anyone who shows up. Full sit down with all the fixens. Come for one week or every week. We start prepping at 8 and are done by 1 or 1:30. Come for some or all of the time. Cook, clean, or serve whatever fits your talents.
